Uganda Children’s Home

I never really thought of myself as someone who would eventually have a ministry. I walked those roads before and they are messy and indescribably hard. But here I am with 11 sponsored children, mamas who would thrive through business grants, and a children’s home that needs funding.

Saying “Yes” to becoming the in-country director of a children’s home was a difficult and uncomfortable “yes”.  But to surrender fully to the work of the cross is the faith I strive to live by.  We have big visions and dreams of continuing to be a shelter to children as well as empowering families and children.

The children’s home is currently home to several little ones who have been abandoned, neglected or abused. I have loved these little ones for the last 9 months and have seen them thrive under the care they are given– they know they are loved and belong. The home has considered shutting down due to the lack of funds, which would mean the children would be relocated to different homes.

Would you consider saying “yes” as well? We need monthly donors, one-time donors and advocates who will pray and share about what God is doing here.  You can follow the link to my personal paypal: paypal.me/kristiannap (there are no fees associated with this and 100% goes to the children’s home operations) or contact me for more information regarding the stateside 501(c)(3) we are currently partnered with. Any questions about how you can become a regular donor or for more on our vision for the future can be sent through the contact form below as well.

We are currently in need of monthly sponsors to continue to function and operate for these precious little ones.

We need the body of Christ, and we know it is ultimately our responsibility to care for the lost, the hurting, the orphaned, and the forgotten and that through the way we portray the Gospel they will belong, be healed, find hope and know they are chosen. (James 1:27)
